IC CHARACTERISTICS
CURRENT CANON POINT: Mid-Season 4, after their awesome space adventures and successfully thwarting the Triceratons' plans to destroy the Earth.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A humanoid turtle, standing at roughly five feet in height. One of four, Raphael is the stockiest of his brothers, carrying himself with the air and eagerness of a natural-born fighter. Like the rest of his brothers, he sports brown leather elbow and knee pads and a belt cinched around his torso, and supportive wraps around his forearms, ankles and three-toed feet. Each hand bears two fingers and a thumb, bandaging ringing each digit and across each palm. His eyes are a piercing green, giving an extra edge to the glares he often directs at people. They're framed by the red bandana-mask he wears, his identifying color that goes well with his fiery temperament. Its trailing lengths are a bit ragged, long enough to drape across the back of his shell. Of his brothers Raphael's shell is the most chipped and scarred, a testament to his violent nature. Raphael's weapons of choice are a pair of sai, pronged batons with two points flanking a central, longer one easily about the length of his forearm. When not wielding them, he sheathes them in the custom loops sewn into the back of his belt over his shell.

DEMEANOR: Abrasive and sarcastic, but friendly enough once you get to know him
ABILITIES: No special powers here. He's studied the art of ninjutsu and meditation techniques. He's pretty quick for a turtle. As a mutant, he heals a bit faster, however nothing instantaneous. Also, being a giant turtle, he can use his shell as cover, and swim underwater longer.
